• I’ve been monitoring a video conversion I started this morning. The time is only going up… up to 6 hours left to far and still climbing. #
• Well, the video conversion has gone from 25% to 28% and it’s now at 7 hours remaining.. instead of 6. Is a black hole going to open up? #
• Ok… 40 minutes have passed and we’ve gone from 28% and 7 hours to 50% complete with 3 hours remaining. Very Accurate status bar… #
• Just kneaded a batch of what I hope will be serviceable udon noodles. They are resting. Hoping to make a nice soup for lunch tomorrow. #
• I did a text export of 21 seconds of footage. I got a 5GB file in return. Glad I did a test… #
• So far so good. Udon noodles are drying in the rack! http://twitpic.com/3opwy #
• Hopefully I can use these noodles in a homemade chicken soup. Stock is in the freezer, made that months ago. Looking forward to it! #

Topslakr April 20th, 2009

This past Saturday we began building our first poly tunnel. This project also signaled the start of filming for the upcoming video podcast. I enlisted some filming and photography help from a friend of mine that was there and I think we got enough recorded to make an episode work. Time will tell.

We have some final work to do on the tunnel which we are planning to take care of next weekend. Once that is done and filmed I should be able to start piecing together the video post, which makes me pretty nervous…

• Yikes, it’s already 1:30. I guess I ought to eat some lunch. At least I’m making some forward progress at work! #
• The clock tolls 7PM and I can finally head home. Tomorrow promises only to be a longer day then today. Happy to be employed though! #
• In a meeting, someone just used ‘irregardless’. Ouch #
• Missing rehearsal tonight and am headed to a national French honor society induction for my sister. It’s going to be wild, I’m sure. #
• I’m behind on everything… And now even twitter. Time for sleep though. First night of the year with the windows open! #
• Beautiful morning. Sun is shining, birds and singing and a cool breeze is drifting in my window. I should try to maximize this somehow… #
• Time to sneak in a bit of lunch. Nothing Special today… #
• Hmm. Looks like the boss man is going to be coming by my office today. I really should do a bit of cleanup… #

• Home from performance #2. Another great show! I’m just thrilled to be welcomed into St. Matt’s amazing choir! #
• Internet at the office is crawling today. It’s nearly impossible to get even simple web pages to load, let alone the complex stuff I need… #
• Feeling odd today. Not sick yet.. but I think it’s coming. I’m going to try and make it an early night. Hopefully it will pass! #
• I left my Macbook power adapter at the office again over the weekend. Didn’t realize it until I saw it still plugged in. Great battery life! #
• The sun is shinning and it should be almost 60! Perhaps I have time to sneak in a bike ride before this evening’s Cantata performance. #
• Hrm.. seems the Internet at my house has gone down. Not good… Time to go investigate. #
• Alright, I’m all dressed and ready for this evening’s Cantata performance. I’m off and running! #

• Monday AM conference call = Listening to people talk while catching up from over the weekend. The joys of being in a remote office! #
• Listening to this week’s TWiT podcast, When Leo says ‘We have no news’ the shows are the longest. Should be the inverse. http://twit.tv/188 #
• All companies screw up. The way they handle that mistake defines if I will buy from them again or not. I will be buying from Adorama again. #
• What a strange day. Always fun to receive a very large box containing server goodness though. #
• It looks like the lens I bought from Ritz has arrived. I’ll have to pick it up on the way home. Pretty excited about it actually… #
• Just saw a mall cop on a segway @ the Rockingham NH mall. Wow. Cops to lazy to wall a small mall. Nice! #
• Tried to get a picture of segway cop but he seemed annoyed and followed me. I did a slolam through tables in the food court to ditch him. #
