  • Film has arrived from @OldSchoolLab, plus some stickers and a card! It's now a good Monday :) Thx! #
  • Hmm, so far I'm not super impressed with Kodak's Portra 160 in my Nikon F5. More to scan and much to learn… #
  • @jbphoto After reading the post this AM, I was left without any questions. I bookmarked it for reference and I'd consider it quite complete. #
  • @jbphoto I would expect some of your quite competent tweeps would have quickly brought to your attention any issues :) #
  • @rands I prefer to word it 'Time isn't found, it's made.' #
  • @jbphoto :: Waves :: Not dead.. lurking. #
  • @mat4226 So.. Soufflé for dinner eh? I recommend cheese, broccoli and bacon. It's actually quite easy to make and fun to photograph! #
  • @historyteach46 @alisondeanne You're welcome. Thanks for joining us! #
  • @seawoulfe @suescustom is fine. @snowstar280 had an altercation with a hot pan handle… #
  • @snowstar280 What was today's prognosis? #

  • I've got that 'First shower after a camping trip clean' feeling. Wonderful! #
  • I'm just starting to scan my last batch of film from @OldSchoolLab and I've already shot another dozen rolls to send off for development! #
  • @OldSchoolLab I, for one, am hoping that your news will be that you are randomly adding Super 8 development to your line up. #
  • @OldSchoolLab Lots of places still dev Super 8.. I just want to bring all my film to you. #
  • @Joetorian Additionally, you can tweet via texting to twitter… Also, tweet more. #
  • @KEHcamera @jbphoto I do the same thing. I treat it like a way to keep track of things to go back and read when I get time. #
  • @KodakCommunity I've only been shooting film since 2008. I've 100% film for about a year. I'm a newbie :) #
  • @TannerFoust why is the face blurred? #
  • @KodakCommunity, Are the Pulse digital frames going to be sticking around for a while? Seems like an amazing product. #

  • @jbphoto @MikeCrivellos No interest in a 645E. Gots to have interchange backs. Thx for thinking of me @jbphoto :) #
  • @robb_albrecht I'm leaning much more toward Super 8 at the moment.. costs are less but the quality can be high. #
  • @jbphoto If Netflix has it, Corner Gas is a must see. Awesome Canadian sitcom. Netflix has the DVDs.. not sure about streaming. #
  • Taking a few days away later this week so I've just ordered some more film. Can't wait! #BeleiveInFilm #
  • On field landing of the week @jackhodgson? http://t.co/iGGDo6w4 #
  • @altonbrown I really enjoyed the feasting shows. I'd watch them on any network. I'd still like to see a series on smaller airports too. #
  • @MsHsKidQuotes Ha! A totally accurate comment. #
  • @daphnechan @jbphoto Head over to http://t.co/0ITXtjHL and grab something from their store. Cleaned up cams ready for use. No guessing. #
  • I just bought a Super 8 camera because I am: D) A Fool who just loves working in a physical medium (And really excited!) #

  • @jackhodgson @burnsidej Texts from a Predator Drone: http://t.co/LJ2rlhCa Seems right up your alley! #
  • Watching the feed of the Orbiter landing on the back of a @Boeing 747. Cool to see! #
  • @KEHcamera So many questions! How do I get started? How do I find compatible parts? What is the shooting work flow? Bellows compensation? #
  • @KEHcamera Read it; great primer. I get lost trying to build the system and finding parts. Also, how to know which camera has which features #
  • @joshuatopolsky At least they are all strong, reasoned complaints that are written well. Imagine if it was just 12 y/o morons tweeting you? #
  • @digitalrev The lens is more important. Cheap body, nice lens everyday. #
  • Tempted by Nikon's new 28mm F/1.8 lens. I've been shooting a 28 F/2.8 almost exclusively, hoping they would release something a bit faster. #
  • @JohnMilleker @mgagle @stevemphotog I agree. Lomo is great, but it's not for me. I want the images I shoot to come back as I expect them to. #

  • Thx for the feedback on Flickr @mack505. I read you post about your TLR on your blog and want more info! Nice write up. #
  • @kimunscripted Really nice shot! All the more amazing on SX70. #
  • @mack505 Nikon n80 is cheap and will allow you to force the camera to override the DX coding. Works with AFS and VR to boot! #
  • @mack505 Did you shoot pricy film or the cheap stuff? I try to shoot the cheaper Fuji Superia 400 when testing new gear out. #
  • @mack505 Scratches can be tough to fix… Several hours of detailed cleaning may be in your future. Isopropyl and Q-Tip time! #
  • @mack505 Heh. Shooting at ISO12800? Should be fine. Dev for 3200 or dev for 12800? Can't wait to see the beach ball grain! #
  • @mack505 Perhaps action photos from the Marianas Trench? #
  • @mat4226 When your equipment holds you back, upgrade. When you hold back your equipment.. keep learning! :) Fight the urge! #

  • @filmdevelop Where? What's it called? #
  • @OldSchoolLab Eyes open but dazed. I find my eyes go sort of trance like when I'm forced to 'see' with my hands. #
  • @jbphoto My mind has melted.. I'm not even sure the Instagram servers can handle something like that.. next, take a picture of 6×6 slide! #
  • @jbphoto I heard a noise.. my Nikon FM just exploded in my bag. I would have thought it would be my iPhone but no.. old school film camera. #
  • @JohnMilleker It says 'No Photoshop except for treatment'.. whatever that means. Tone mapped for sure though! #
  • @mack505 Shoot a roll over exposed by one stop to compensate for age. See what comes back :) Grain like beach balls but may be interesting! #
  • @jbphoto Heh. The internet is sometimes oddly specific. Flickr groups exists for nearly anything you can imagine… #
  • One year ago today, I asked @AlisonDeAnne to marry me. Thankfully, she agreed! #
  • @efroeche well, first anniversary of our engagement. Almost time to mark our second month of marriage :) #

  • @PCR_Com New equipment? The medium format gear? What's coming in? #
  • Just took advantage of the free shipping @KEHcamera is offering this week. Pretty excited! #
  • @OldSchoolLab Can I write on the film leader of 35mm before shooting with something so I can identify rolls after development? #
  • @OldSchoolLab Wonderful! You guys are great! I was wondering if grease pencil might work too… #
  • @mightyleaf Sun and Iced Tea of course! #
  • Nearly 3 o'clock you say? Well, perhaps I should eat some lunch. #
  • @OldSchoolLab I'm trying to find some easy way to document when each roll was shot for archiving. Any Ideas? Thx for testing sharpie! #
  • @PCR_Com D800. Having a D800 available for rent might mean I could sell my DSLR and rent when needed… #
  • So basically @jbphoto instead of you being spammed… you're going to forward that spam to all of your followers? Not sure I like this plan :) #
  • @jbphoto The flaw, as I see it.. is now you're a spammer :) #

  • Shot a roll of Kodak TMax P3200 and the exposures look great, but the grain is massive! More to scan before I judge if I like it or not. #
  • Lots of great film scanned in today. I can't wait to scan the remaining 5 rolls. I may even have it all done by Wednesday… we'll see! #
  • @PCR_Com @oldschoollab Portsmouth is a beautiful location! Prescott Park, water front and lots of 'street photography' options as well. #
  • @PCR_Com @oldschoollab I wonder if evening would be better for those who work Saturday? I've never organized a walk before though… #
  • @marcoarment Your retweet did remind me to look up your toaster oven review.. to which I give much credibility and weight. #
  • @mgagle Local film buying is so over priced anyway. Fuji Superia 400 is less then $2 on Adorama for 24. It's more than $5 locally. Too bad.. #
  • @efroeche @pcr_com Can't really take any 'credit' for helping to plan.. I was just responding to tweets :) I'm looking forward to it though! #

  • @OldSchoolLab Wow that is amazing! I hope it continues. I've been nothing but impressed with your company since I came across it. #
  • I dropped off my film at @OldSchoolLab Saturday and I cannot wait to get it back. It's all the shots I took at my wedding.. suspense! #
  • @OldSchoolLab I was indeed.. and I didn't even abuse this months batch of film. #
  • @jbphoto Nearby-ish :) You guys are a bit of a drive but I enjoy it and I like to know the people who are developing my film. #
  • @historyteach46 Once I receive them, and then scan them, yes. Of course! #
  • @jbphoto @filmpodcast @mat4226 I would start with a current episode and then go back to the start if you like it :) Wonderful Podcast! #
  • New Post on http://t.co/Q3l8zwXr: Choosing the Correct Camera Gear http://t.co/80kXXwBg #
  • @jbphoto You're the pro, and I believe you. That being said, my Coolscan V does offer to scan in RAW mode. What is that? It makes NEF files. #

  • @SherriNourse I'm glad you liked it! I'll be making more bread this week.. so I'll keep you posted! #
  • This past Saturday was the final wedding event for @AlisonDeAnne and I. Great to see @seawoulfe, @badknees1 and @WallaceJas. #
  • It was a great event that was surprisingly relaxing. I'm glad we held a northeast event so we could celebrate with all of our local friends. #
  • @Phoblographer Nikon F100, 50 F/1.8 and Porta 400. #
  • @filmdevelop 1.) Pull Fire Alarm. 2.) Steal Cake. 3.) [Likely] Find New Job. Buy hey! Free cake right? #
  • @jbphoto Gimp is only a download away! #
  • Just went to see Wanderlust… Horrible movie but insanely funny. #
