  • Trying out the new Ubuntu 8.10 release; Specifically, Kubuntu. I’ve not used KDE in ages and I’d like to see what all the talk is about. #
  • @davidlebovitz Call them whatever you want.. I just call ’em tasty. #
  • Kubutu 8.10: Not so good… KDE doesn’t actually load. Hangs during the splash screen. Time to try Ubuntu 8.10 I suppose. #
  • The people at OpenDNS are the greatest tech people I have ever dealt with. Very fast and they know what they are talking about. Excellent! #
  • Ubuntu 8.10 does not load the desktop on boot, just as Kubuntu didn’t. Not pleased with the release so far… #
  • I usually like to leave the office late on Halloween… better chance of finding some kids to run down #

  • I planned on grabbing lunch via the daily office order… but they went to McDonalds. Yeah, not for me thanks. I sure am hungry though… #
  • I really want to leave the office and head home… I’m so worn out from the events of the past 10 days or so. #

  • I still check on my new RAID array everyday, and I’m happy to report I’ve have 14 uneventful days thus far. #
  • @mari1ee Ha! I too was asked to drive to various places to make pick ups and deliveries. We’d arrive, he would get a box out of the trunk… #
  • It looks like my mom has arrived home from a 5 day hospital stay today. She is in good spirits and recovering well… all good signs! #

  • I really do have better luck popping popcorn on the stove then in the microwave. I always burn it in the microwave… And I hate it burned. #

  • Worst headache of my life last night. I thought the top of my head was going to pop off! Sleep did not come easily… #
  • Just leaving the hospital and grabbing a bit of breakfast as I head to work. Sue is looking good and hopes to come home tomorrow night. #
  • The price of the Nikon D700 is already down almost $500 to $2519. It gets more tempting each day… #
  • @sarahlane I watched PopSiren and I’m sorry to see it, and you go. I’ll be looking out for your next project.. sooner rather then later! #

  • Fedex sent me a package… Pretty small. I think they should have used USPS instead. #
